If you are part of a nonprofit, or if you are looking to start a community project, there’s a good chance that funding is at the forefront of your mind.  Like many innovators of change, you might have millions of great ideas, but not necessarily millions of dollars.

The Education Compact, an program at the Center for University, School and Community Partnerships at UMass Dartmouth will be hosting a “Nonprofit Fundraising Workshop” on Saturday, November 15th from 9:30-3:30.  Topics will include how to write grants and secure funds, how to develop a budget, and how to measure your organization’s value.

Civic Support founders Shonna Ryan and Kevin Pelissier will be presenting at the workshop on the topic of “Proven Value”.  They will discuss how to set realistic goals for your organization, and how to use 21st century tools to measure your progress and provide reporting data for funders.
